I have just put a new motherboard, cpu and RAM in my PC. I reformatted the hard drive and did a fresh installation of XP Pro.
Everything is working fine except MOHAA. If I try to run it I get a box that says " A debugger has been detected" with the instruction "Unload the debugger and try again"
As far as I know I don't have a a debugger running.
I've Googled for answers but none work (eg Games: Error Message: A Debugger Has Been Detected: Unload the Debugger and Try Again). The first solution in the Microsoft knowledge base answer says to rename a file called Amdfix.sys - I don't have a copy of this file, none of the other suggestions in the article work or are applicable. Other suggestions include using the task manager to stop DrWatson running, but DrWatson isn't running on my PC.
Does anyone know a way around this problem?
All other apps or games are running fine. The security apps on this machine are the same as on another PC that runs MOHAA without a problem.
TIA
