I do have a surge protected power strip. Its still working but i guess it Didn't protect anything.

Strangely enough this is what killed a new Tagan of mine a few years back. Made me get some surge protection. I wonder how many people will read this thread and think ,"mmmn must buy a decent quality PSU so that when it dies (for whatever reason), it won't take my PC with it."

Go here for RMA NanoPoint UK. Click service tab select eRMA (green one). Just say what fault you have not about the power outage.

Was just reading another thead which had some PSU advice in it, almost a mind reader iranu: "mmmn I'm glad I got a decent quality PSU so that when it dies (for whatever reason), it won't take my PC with it." Still some people prefer to live life on the edge...

Ebuyer have some very cheap UPS's in at the moment. Not saying they are brilliant, but if they only give you a couple of min's to shut-down, thats better than nothing
