    Re: 64bit Laptop for £300 ?

why do you need vista64 ?

A laptop of that price is not going to come with a reasonable ammount of memory or cpu so surly 64bit is a waste.
    It is Inevitable.....

I just want the 64bit as a test bed really, it doesn't need loads of RAM.

What exactly do you need to use it for? Have you considered getting a £150 ish laptop from ebay and adding 2 gig of newer RAM?

Edit: Scrub that, i can't find a laptop with a 64bit processor for under £300 on ebay!

Not sure if you have received the acer laptop yet, but when you do give let me know how well it performs. I'm looking for a laptop for office and internet use for around that price.

    Thanks
