4 Pin molex to 3 pin molex found in UK!?!?

Hi, i have 3 case fans running with 4-pin molex connectors.

I think that i could get a lot of noise reduction by slowing down my case fans when system is cool but i need to connect them to my motherboard to do so.

I dont like the taught of a fan controller as i would like everything to be automatic(computer usually on for long periods when im not at home)

Therefore, i need a converter which converts a 4-pin female molex into a 3-pin female molex.

I have found this on an american website (4-pin Molex to 3-Pin Female Socket Cable Adapter Sleeved [4FAN3PIN] : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come) but cannot find anything of the sort from anywhere in england!!

Can you please advise where i can get this type of converter?

    Thanks
    Ian

Try this selection of cable from maplins.

    Maplin > Internal Case Cables

Looks like the one you want is in there.

Nopp...theyre all 4 pin molex to 3 pin molex...therefore the 3pin molex and the 4 pin molex are both male!!

I need them both to be female!

    Not so easy to find!

Rather more money I know but the mCubed T Balancer is a very cool automatic fan controller.

Are you planning to run all 3 fans off one 3pin header?
If so, that's a bad idea. While it does depend on the fan, if they draw too much current you run a very real risk of damaging the mobo
