oh i emailed logitech RMA and told em a foot fell off the mouse, G9 on its way

Well in the end I went with the good old hammer option and after that I am pretty sure a golf club or cricket bat (if I possessed either, I suppose I could have tried my squash racket but it may have been difficult to find it afterwards for the pics) would not have been sufficent as it was one tough little blighter and took much battering.

Logitech have been back in contact since I uploaded the pics and I now have a lovely MX revolution winging its way over. Now I have a choice between a G9 or an MX revolution or I could sell the MX unopened, really not sure what to do as I liked the MX when I used it (except for the charging issue that caused me to swap it for a G9) but now I have used a G9 for a couple of weeks and I am really happy with that.

A nice decision to have to make to be fair...

All in all, really impressed with logitech support and I will continue buying their stuff.

i now have a G9 and a MX rev sat here ( i unscrewed mine, took pic then put it all back.. wasnt prepared to get plastic shards in my eye )

G9 if far better than that mx rev by a long shot, i dont miss that useless side scroll excuse of a wheel at all, fits in the hand better as well.

i do miss the mx scroll wheel's auto switch feature when you spin it fast, the g9's manual, a poxy button under it.
