    Yup, that has SoundStorm.
looks like a decent price too given it is the gigabit lan & wifi slot version.

    sounds good

    ...

Another excellent solution from the A7N8X series is here. The A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard improves on the popular A7N8X Deluxe by adding Gigabit LAN and the exclusive ASUS Wi-Fi slot for easy wireless LAN setup. Of course, innovative features such as AGPPro/8x, Dolby® digital 6-channel audio, onboard IEEE 1394, Serial ATA, dual-channel DDR 400 and a dual LAN design are still included in this latest board.

    Review of this board here

    http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/..._dfi_lanparty/

IMO unless you really want out of date wireless networking at a price premium, i don't know why you'd get it over the dfi...

www.Cpucity.co.uk do the dfi lanparty for £105, or the bargain infinity for £69

btw i ain't getting it for the Wi-Fi, i'm getting it cos my old nForce2 mobo stopped working mysteriously and this 'un is faster, better, cheaper and stronger...

also all the hardware tests I'VE seen they've always used this exact mobo or a slightly older variant of some sort.

    thanks ppl!!

having said that tho, my only gripe is that the mobo has a gold/brown pcb which will spoil my nice red theme i had going (red mobo, red gpu, red ram)

Id personaly look at the Abit NF7 range, or the DFI's Lan party.
