    new geil ddr2 memory

hi guys tried asking and reasearching on internet to no avail... my new ddr2 memory which is meant to be 800 mhz is comming up in cpu-z as dram frequency= 400 mhz now im wondering if theres a problem here... when i read the packet said the optimised voltage was 2.1 v and the mobo was allowing it 1.8 so i upped it by .3 to make 2.1v but it saying this now am i missing something?

Its DDR Ram - Double Density Ram
    so
    400mhz x 2 = 800

    Yeah, density is something different

Can't believe how cheap DDR2 is atm. Although have seen some sticks go up by a few quid the last week....

    Re: new geil ddr2 memory

I've the Geil DDR2 as well.
Shows as 400mhz, and I've changed the BIOS to 2.1v.
    All works fine.
However, I have an Abit mobo, and I checked the settings with EQ, just to be sure.
