What was the wrong key you hit m8? Because that sounds like a classic case of a bad flash!

There are a couple of things you can do, most notably go to www.badflash.com and get a new / reprogrammed bios chip. Or buy a new motherboard.

I did read somewhere that if a flash goes wrong, sometimes the floppy drive will still boot, meaning you can recover it from a boot disk with your flash program on it.. Might be worth a look.

Yes most modern mobos have a fail safe whereby the part of the BIOS which handles booting and reading from floppy disk is never over-written. That should mean you can recover by creating a bootable floppy disk with the flash program, a good BIOS and an AUTOEXEC.BAT which auto flashes upon bootup. Definitely worth a try. Gigabyte's Dual BIOS is a superb technology and it's a shame other manu's haven't followed suit.

Sorry for the late replay. Thanks for your help, i will give that floppy thing a try, but the mb is a few years old, so i am notvery hopeful. Guess i will be looking for a new mb. The new kt600 boards seem nice and cheap.
