    Pioneer DVR-212DBK

    brought one of these today and installed it and it powers up but looking in my computer it comes up as dvd-RAM for 10 secs then goes to cd-wr and wont let me burn... im guessing it wont let me burn dvd because its seeing it as an cd-wr

    any help to why its not being seen as a dvR?


    thinking about it looking at the bios it says only IDE and no sata and my hdd and this drive are both sata devices... i only installed drivers from the mobo disk would i have to install a sata driver? or maybe something in the bios is turned off?
