Best Mouse

whats the best mouse at around the £30-35 mark, i was looking at one of the Blue Razors or a Logitech

Will be used for gaming and general mouse work alike

I don't know the best one but i have the Logitech MX-1000 and its pretty damn good, especially for this price

There is no best mouse IMO.

Mice are a very personal item......I would at least try and use the ones you are interested in beforehand.

I have found some mice make me stretch my fingers which hurts after a while, some make me scrunch my hand up etc

[start shameless plug]If you are looking for a good gaming mouse then you can check it out[/end shameless plug], but to save you the trouble I'd recommend either the Logitech MX518 or the Razer Diamondback 3G which should fall in your budget.

Even better, if you look hard enough you should be able to find a Razer Deathadder or Logitech G5 for close to £40. Check Amazon, eBay or Google's product search.

But as shaithis says, a mouse is a very personal item and you should try before you buy. The Diamondback fits very well if you have small hands, whereas the Logitech mice tend to have a bigger shape.

I'll tell you what i think of it when it arrives, it should have been here Friday along with my Saitek Eclipse and a monitor stand...

I have the MX518...no problems and is a great gaming mouse

MX518 here....great mouse, but sadly doesn't fit my hand too well.
Recently had a deathadder (Razer) and its cracking. Had it because it was like my older intelimouse v3 which I loved until I got very angry over a certain match on UT2004 and it ended up in pieces

Shaithis is spot on. A mouse is a personal thing. Go with any of the major brands (Logitech, Microsoft, Razer ect...) and you won't go wrong, its just preference

This being the one reason i didn't by one, with my game tantrums it wouldn't last a week My Logitech Click! has taken a hell of a beating in the 2 years i've had it and it still works so im hoping the G5 will survive too...

I'm happy with my MX518, but then again, I also consider the £10 MS Intellimouse I got for work to be a nice piece of kit as well, if it'd been just that little bit heaiver, I'd have one at home as well.

I would say the MX518 but i've never used any other. So you cant take that as a vote for mx518 or not.
