spare mem slot
Just a quickie, I'm currently running a pair of corsair XMS3200LL memory sticks on my nf7-s 2.0 mobo, they are 256mb each and in slots 2 and 3 to allow the DDR to kick in at 400mhz, will i have any problems adding another stick to slot one (potentially a 512mb) and will the memory still all run at 400mhz?

I can't see any problems with that, as long as the new stick of RAM can run at 400mhz.

I would suggest you move the 2 current sticks to slot 1 & 2 and put the 512Mb stick into slot 3 so the 2 channels are balanced in terms of memory quantity.
Ran mine like that for about 3 weeks while I waited for a 512Mb stick to be RMA'ed - had no problems during that period.

Sounds like a good idea, try and get RAM that is either them manufacturer and spec's or as close as you can. Just make sure that it is pc3200. As one DIMM of slower RAM will slow down all the other RAM.
Also, you should still be able to run it in dual channel mode.
