RAM Speed
Got an Asus P5W DH Deluxe, and I just stuck in 2 x 2GB OCZ PC6200 RAM. The BIOS showed up as PC5300 ... So went nosying in the BIOS and set the DRAM speed to PC6200. However when I load up CPUZ it shows the RAM running at 400mhz.
Is it because its dual channel, and each core of the CPU (E6600) uses 1 stick of memory and thus runs at 400 or what? BTW its Vista x64.

Re: RAM Speed
well, it's probably normal. PC2-6400 (DDR2-800) does run at a 400 MHz clock speed, it's only rated at 800 due to the double data rate per clock cycle. I forget exactly how CPU-Z reports the things though... actually, googling it suggests it does always report the clock speed, not DDR speed, so you're good with the 400 MHz rating :)
