    Thermalright Fan Wire Clip

    I see those are sold separately from the cooler. Are they needed to attach a fan to the cooler? Pretty shocking if it's required yet they don't come by default

    they do... you just buy em if you want extras. Only extra you would need from the ultra 120A is the am2 bolt thru kit that allows you to mount it on am2 systems. now all the newer ones come with everything.

    you'd want an extra if you want to mount another fan on the other side. kinda understand? its cheaper than buying a whole new ultra just for the 2 clips (as if anyone would do that , I hope )

    Got it thanks. Pretty sure that a low RPM one fan is good enough even more moderate OCing.
