Unhappy need help fixing power connection on laptop

    Hello,
my laptop met the floor at some velocity and was still working although the powerlead was a bit bent.
After a while it wouldnt charge so i bought a new cable from toshiba but it still wouldnt work
i think the connection inside the laptop has come loose. is this something i could fix myself?
I am fairly anti pc but would say i like a technical challange.
Where could i buy parts for a toshiba from?
How would i do it myself?
Is there anywhere in the midlands that are reliable and cheap if i can't fix it myself?

Kind Regards and thanks for any help!

If it's just a power socket shouldn't be too much trouble, ebay or maplins would be first port of call for the socket
