i am building another system out of spares i have , i have a 3600x2 am2 spare, 1 gig of ddr667(2x512) and a 7800gs . i am short a mobo and have 2 options
option1: ASROCK AM2NF3-VSTA
option2: MSI K9MM-V
which would be the better of the two?

if you don't need the integrated video probably the nF3 based Asrock.
No other options available though?
no other am2 mobos are out as far as i know , so it has to be one of the above . the asrock mobo supports the new phenom also
there are loads of AM2 mobos out.
e.g. This is abit's current AM2/AM2+ lineup
Universal abit > Motherboard, Digital Speakers, iDome, AirPace, Multimedia
i have done a search using google and those are the only 2 found

yes to use the bits i already have , this will be my third spare system lol
Many of the mobo manufacturers have made AM2/AGP mobos in the past but AGP is pretty much dead & buried these days.
Biostar also make a KM800 AM2/AGP based mobo
