    Some random buying advice...

I am currently in the process of upgrading my machine, and am but three purchases away from completion. I was wondering if anyone would care to suggest a suitable item to fulfill any of my requirements.

First of all, a decent TFT. Something 17 inch, upto and around the £300 mark. Is not going to be used much for games, more so office and multimedia use. So something in the 'good all round' line of thinking

Second - some memory. Couple of sticks that will work OK in an NF7-s. Really looking at PC3200, and don’t want to spend a huge amount on them. Had my eye on some Crucial PC3200 CAS2.5 sticks, and also some Twinmos PC3200 Winbond sticks, for about a 5er more for the pair. Which of the two would be the better choice? Or is there something else out there that would be a better choice?

Finally - a nice heatsink. I have an unlocked Barton 2500, that’s supposed to be capable of around 2.5 GHz. Although I am not going to be pushing it to the limit, I deffinatly don’t mind spending a bit and getting a decent heatsink for it. Also don’t mind a little bit of noise.

Thanks in advance for any advice and recommendations.

I would probably go for the TwinMOS with Winbond.

    Tt Volcano 12 or a Thermalright SLK-800, 900, 947 or SP97

Crucial RAM is always good, but Twinmos with Winbond will probably overclock better.

    Thermalright SLK-800 or 900.

    As BUFF said, really
