    Saitek Cyborg mouse

I saw an advert for this mouse the other day. Has anyone tried it or seen any reviews?

    Re: Saitek Cyborg mouse

I've quite like the Saitek Cyborg range in the past, I've still got an Evo joystick and I'm hoping this is going to be as good.

and Razer. i dont think its going to work though as peoples perceptions of Saitek are pretty different than they are about logitech/razer.

will have a nose at the reviews though when they pop up, its hard to tell what kind of quality were dealing with just from a pic, could be plasticy as hell

    Re: Saitek Cyborg mouse

The Eclipses have had some pretty decent write ups mind you. Though obviously not at good as Logitech or Razer.

My Cyborg joystick is very well made as well (its lasted a good few years now), so I reckon these mice and keyboards could be pretty good.

True, but my point was that they're generally regarded as fairly well made keyboards which could be a good sign that the Cyborg is also going to be pretty solid.

I have a saitek gaming mouse and it has survived over 2 years of constant battlefield 2 and 2142 without a hitch until now. I also hav the cyborg joystick and I love it so if the mouse is as good as my otehr saitek stuff it will be kick arse and definatly worth 30 quid

    Re: Saitek Cyborg mouse

I upgraded my keyboard after a beer accident from a g15 to a cyborg. I must say that the cyborg is a much better keyboard in my opinion. I love the touch controls. The macro keys on both sides is much better. The lighting is much better. The tactile response of the keys themselves is much better. Also the programming software is better, more in-depth, and more versatile than the g15's software.

I like the keyboard so much that I went ahead and bought the mouse too. I upgraded from an MX1000 logitech (that was having battery life issues.) This mouse is way better than the logitech. The ergonomics are a bit strange, but I am getting used to the way the mouse feels. Having so many programmable buttons on the thumb is crazy cool. The only complaint I have is that the hat's press button is kind of hard to use without setting off the directional buttons. So I don't use it. I use the mouse at 3200 dpi full time, and I set the sensitivity in windows down.

    Edit:
I will say that I hate the way that the mouse and keyboard look. I think that they look a bit cheesy.
