    Changing To Crossfire??

    Hello people!!

I have a buyer for my current graphics card (8800 GTS) and i fancy getting 2 ati cards and crossfiring them up as i have a crossfire motherboard!!

What i would like to know would be...

    What benefits from crossfire?
What would be the best 2 cards to get for £200?

    Let me know...Thanks!!

    Re: Changing To Crossfire??

If you want to Crossfire for £200 then 2x 3850 512MB is probably the best for the money will come in just over £200 (aria had them at £103 each the other day), also worth watching Scan today only as they sometmes have them on offer. If you cant find them on offer then you would be looking at ~£235 from Scan for 2x powercolor efforts

The alternative would be to get 2x 3650s but I have seen no reviews for them in crossfire or for that matter singlely! But that would only come in at £120 so maybe performance would suffer!

    Aria link

    ATI Radeon HD 3850 512MB PCI-E2.0 - Aria Technology

says 1 per order but I guess you just make 2 orders or get it sent next door or to you partner etc. only issue will be double postage, but it should still be cheaper than scan (not on offer).

OCUK also have them @ £111 each plus postage so aria with double postage is proably still cheaper.
