Question Mini-ITX in Wii case! Will it fit?

Hi guys, this is my first post on here.

I'm looking to build a small PVR, with DVD reading capabilites and ideally wifi. The plans are to replace my current upright freeview box, with something that can do a bit more. This would be the first part of a new multimedia network in my house. I want a PC or Latop for downloads/backing up/film editing, a network drive wherre I can chuck everything when I'm running low on space and this PC for the living room. It will need to play DVD, Div-X, etc show Freeview, record TV shows and stream/download films from the network drive.

My collection of burnt CDs are all starting to die, so I want to get everything onto hardrives.

Anyway, back to my question. I want a basic system (just enough specs to record TV) so we're talking, twin-tuner TV card, MOBO, slot-loading DVD drive (no need to burn), laptop hard drive (160-500GB), power supply and IR window.

I was borrowing a Wii over Christmas and I really like the case, and thought it would be perfect, but I can't help feeling it will just be too tight. I know I can save space with a USB TV tuner (any USB twin-digital-tuners available), laptop power supply, pico-itx board, and maybe no hard-drive (a temporary flash card that'll stream later to a network drive).

To save wrecking a Wii I've seen the Evolve Wii Replacement Case from Talismoon.com and although it's not a lot of money to part with I was hoping whether anyone would be able to give me a straight "It's possible" or "You fool it'll never fit" or if anyone had tried successfully or not to do something similar.

Thanks for reading this, any advice is appreciated.

The Wii dimensions are 157mm x 215.4mm x 44mm (taken from a few sites) and there are plenty of cut-up Wiis around

Wii Project - codename: UV Hack Update 5 : Its all done ! [VIDEO ADDED]

There's one, showing a few disassembled/guts out pics.

    Interesting idea, subscribed
