Need a little help with an old motherboard.

    Hi.

Right i dug this computer out of the cupboard and tried to get it working. Dont know any info on in, just that it is old i.e. 1996. think the processer is a P1. It is one of those computers that sits under the moniter.

It turns on (fans+keyboard lights a second) then doesnt do anything. every other boot is beeps at me lots.

Tried reseting the CMOS but it didnt help, it was working in October/September time.

Can anyone help me get it working again?

    cheers

Check what type of bios it is - award, phoenix etc., then look up the beep codes.
Different bios types have different series of beeps for different errors.

A complete guess would be to check the memory is seated properly, same with gfx card. If you have spare RAM try using that, and same with gfx.
