New Motherboard Recommendations

I am after a new motherboard.

Including:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 / socket 775
4 - RAM slots

I was wondering, the one i want so far is Abit Dark Raider, but I've just see one that takes a PCI-E graphics card AND a AGP graphics card..

is this recommended? Or should i go with a SLI/Crossfire board?

& do you need an AGP card slot or Crossfire or SLI?
If you don't get the IP35 as it's a bargain atm on Scan Today Only.

Agreed, if there's no reason for you to have AGP (not got any PCIE cards?) or SLI/Crossfire (they're not that great, and expensive) then go for the IP35.

so the IP35 is a good main board? I might go ahead and buy it today then if it aint gunna be that price tomorrow

If it takes AGP & Dual core, it is probably an Asrock `board. Fine for what it is, but I don`t think comparable in any way to the Darkraider, very limited overclocking etc.
