The existence of dual socket 939 motherboards...

Hi all,

I'm almost certain that such a thing does not exist, can anyone confirm? Its ashame because I happen to have two 3500+ CPUs knocking around...

Confirmed; the equivalent generation multi-cpu solution uses S940 (I'm typing this on a dual S940 Opteron as we speak). S939 CPUs don't support operation in SMP, hence there are no boards that support this either. S940 was superceded by Socket-F as S939 was superceded by AM2.

A 3500'll still be good for a lot.

Build two computers and run them as a cluster ;)
