What to do with....
2 x 120mm fans.
I have two brand new 120mm fans, they were going in the family PC but it doesnt need them so I want to use them, i bought them, I may aswell use them.
The case I have is this one
There aren't are actual fan areas that will fit a 120mm fan inside.
So im trying to think of a way I could get use out of them, i was thinking of maybe putting one sat in bottom of case blow cool air onto the GFX card but not sure on the second.
Anyone got any tips and suggestions?

Re: What to do with....
Side mount, either rig up some way of blowing onto the the graphics/chipset, or dremel/cut your case to mount the fan either on the door or the internal fan intake/outlets, you could also suspend from the top of your case(hanging) with cable ties. Zalman do a bracket that will fit into exspansion slots @£3
Zalman BR123 and FANFIX1

Just to save confusion.
Side panel does look like a nice place to get some air in.

Re: What to do with....
I would, but the panel, where the lines are that you can see on it, have clips top and bottom, with the 8800GTS fitted the top plastic clip presses on the card.
Not really looking for a new case at this moment in time thanks.
Maybe I could get my step dad who used to be a plastic former to cut a hole in the side panel but abit higher up..
thanks for suggestions
Edit: - ill take a picture to show you what am dealing with space wise inside the case, it might help

Re: What to do with....
If you were going to go higher than the graphics card it might be worth using the fan as an extractor rather than in take. It will save any heat rising up to the CPU from the gfx card.. that said it might starve it of fresh air.
Anyone done any fluid dynamics? :D

Re: What to do with....
Almost the same case as the chieftec dragons, I modded all of mine for 120mm intakes at the front, if it is the same gauge stell as the chieftec, I pity the poor dremel, the dragons were solid outstanding cases, I used a grinder.
"Plastic Former" Perfect get him to cut a hole for you, you get 120mm core bits, that will fit into a drill

Re: What to do with....
I have two external HDs that both have fans bolted on to them - on one I replaced the metal top with laser-cut acrylic and bolted a fan to it, the other has a wooden frame with the fan attached to that. I can't take photos due to my camera being in a safe place right now...
So, my advice: if you have external HDs, figure out a way of mounting the fan so that they cool the drive(s).

Re: What to do with....
I have ext HDs but they are only used when i make backups or need somewhere to store large files

Re: What to do with....
I appologise in advance for the crappyness of the pictures, bad lighting in room and i suck with cameras anyway xD
As you can see, space is abit cramped..ive just remember, if i remember correctly, the hard drive cages are removable, so maybe i could move one of them and rig up a fitting for one of the 120mm fans.
Its not clear from that picture but underneat the GFX Card there is a sound card so that space is kind of ocupied.

My wiring isnt the greatest I know but :p

Re: What to do with....
Am thinking of getting a new case...so i can actually close the damn door on my system.
So far ive seen and liiked the look of the Coolermaster Stacker 831 and liked it due to the space it offers and the amount of cooling it can offer.
I was wondering if anyone could suggest any other cases that offer the same?
Thanks in advance.
