    HTPC in bedroom

simple idea, wifi HTPC in bedroom.

    what i have so far

    opteron 146
    2x512 OCZ Gold DDR400
    A few sata drives

    what i need

    PSU
    Case
GFX Card with HDMI out (although i have a 9800pro AIW which i could use with DVI-DSub convertor)
sound of some sort, aint gotta be amazing, just good enough to watch DVD's and enjoy them. (i dont have optical in )
wireless kb/mouse (preferably laptop style combined)

price - £250 MAX but lower the better.

anybody done a similar project or could point me in right direction, would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: HTPC in bedroom

do you want hd-dvd or blu-ray playback? For the best output to a HD TV you need a DVI to HDMI converter so you will also need a DVI card.

    I use ATi ASUS HD2400Pro

    Re: HTPC in bedroom

thanks for the help guys. like the look of the case. i'll get it ordered when we finish decorating the bedroom at the end of the month.

my current mobo is broken, hence the leftover parts.

my new rig has just been dispatched from scan, q6600,8800gts,4gb ram. so i am one very happy bunny atm.
