c2d oc prob

hey everyone, i'v been oc'ing my e6400 after aquiring an abit ip35 dark raider mobo, using corsair xms2 6400 ram. got dead stable up to 3.2ish but have hit a bit of a wall.
my current bios settings are as follows; 405mhz fsb, 1:1 RAM at 810Mhz. 1.385vcore and 2.0v through the RAM. cpuvtt is stock at 1.2v as im not entirely sure what it does n dont want to mess till i do know. sb is stock 1.5v and nb is 1.29. i manually set the RAM timings at 5-5-5-12.

i cant push the fsb any further without blue scrn shortly after boot. during troubleshooting i tried pushing vcore up to the next notch (1.405) out of interest, but that had the same result.. interestingly enough, using all other stable settings but pushing the vcore up still causes this crash. returning vcore to 1.385 solves the prob. from what i have gathered this vcore isnt high by any means- are there other settings i will have to adjust to raise vcore?
my temps are fine, absolute max of 50 degrees orthos load with all case fans of p182 on min. if i crank them temps drop a few degrees.

any other insight as to what im doing wrong would be much appreciated!

To be honest a 3.2 stable OC on an e6400 on air is a pretty good result; that is just over a 1 Gig OC which is a huge performance increase for free! You effectively have the performance of a top end most expensive C2D CPU for the price of a budget one, and getting more may not be possible. Good luck.

You have PC5300 Value RAM running at 810. I don't think you can expect it to go any higher...

im not sure if its me or you thats missing something Thorsson, (i am by no means a knowlege base on this stuff) but im running 6400 ram... so its rated at 800mhz. i didnt think a 10mhz oc would cause instability espesh seeing as its slightly overvolted from recommended. iv also read about peeps gettin these sticks up significantly higher than 810.

3.2ghz is a good OC I would not push the E6400 on air more than that think you may have hit that wall!
