3dmark won't stretch all four cores but looks good. Get it through a few hours prime mate.

    Re: Q6600 @ 4ghzs Stable

Very nice, what voltage do you have the CPU set at in the BIOS, and what does it read in windows? It looks like 1.5 something but I can't quite read it on the screenshot...!

That must be one nice watercooling rig to cope with that! Nice going

    Re: Q6600 @ 4ghzs Stable

hey mate, current core voltage is at 1.68v in bios, but shows up as 1.58v in CPU-Z reccomended "safe" voltages by intel are anything upto 1.65v provided correct cooling, so i may take it down slightly preserve core life

Yeah water cooling system is lovely, raidiator is huge!

    Re: Q6600 @ 4ghzs Stable

Are you running 4 instances of prime? Otherwise it's only one core being stressed.

You should give Orthos or OCCP a go and see if it's stable under those, at least 30mins worth.

I wish I could get my temps down to that level. I really need to upgrade my water kit. The old zalaman just usn't up to the job of cooling an overclocked quad core, it was fine on the dual core but not this, it can't dissipate the heat.

Too much emphasis on this imho. The question should be - does it do what you need it to do without crashing?
