Saitek and Antec Support

I have to say both of these compaines have suprised me in the last couple of weeks.

Having broken both my keyboard (from saitek) and my notebook cooler from antec myself (well not myself but not wear and tear etc..) and with no real expactations of them sending me part to fix them, both came through with suprisingly quick, very human (chatty) responses and both have sent the parts out of their own pockets even though I admitted it was through no fault of their own.

Haven't owned Antec but I can say the same for Saitek as I had a problem with my Saitek keyboard and the service was cheerful and quick .

i can vouch for antec
i broke my side panel of my 900 (put a few cracks in it) and before i knew it, a new one was on my doorstep!

I don't know whether to send my keyboard back to Saitek. It still works but some keys like the P key sometimes don't work on an initial press when typing, I don't know why...

(I was alternating pressing . and P so you see what I mean, sometimes it doesn't register)

It's more the faff though, it's only one letter, and seriously how often do people use the letter P?

Sent my keyboard back to saitek once for repairs, very fast and very helpful.

Never RMAed anything but I find myself giving buying antec everytime. Last case Antec sonata (original), present case Antec 1200, HTPC Antec NSK 2480

My friends all recommended Antec to me for a case to buy but all the times I was in the market for a case I was unable to afford one First case purchased was R300(South African Rand which is 15:1 to the £ so that would equate to £20) and it came with a power supply so very cheapo type case, then the next case I got was the Akasa Zen case for £25 and now I have the Coolermaster CM-690 and I'm very happy with it

I'll be sure to buy an Antec next time though

Well even I would be tempted by the CM-690 and I actually have an old contact at coolermaster who can get problems sorted for me

I just don't like many of their products anymore.

Go on get one... you'll love it once you get it

I would recommend the CM-690 9 times out of 10(probably the only case I recommend at the moment I think) so I'd definitely say go for it if your in the market for a new case.

Not in the market at the moment, I've got my Akasa Eclipse for now which does a good job

Good news for me about Antec. I'm trying to RMA my HTPC PSU at the moment - emailed them yesterday so just waiting for a response...

Do Antec require proof of purchase to be sent with the RMA'd product??
