Wi-Fi card for laptop

What is the best/cheapest option to add wi-fi connectivity to a relatively old laptop? USB or PCMCIA? Is there any particular one that's better than others, or are they mostly the same?

I'd say CardBus if you've got a free slot; most of the USB adapters I've played with have been less than thrilling. If all you want is 802.11b/g, you don't need anything madly expensive; dabs.com - Buffalo 125 Wireless Cardbus Adaptor (WLI-CB-G54HP-3) , for instance?

Shouldn't be a problem - mine does, but it also has an internal wifi card that works well. That's another option, you can pick them up on eBay, for example. This is what you'd be looking for:

Cheers. Would something like this do? For £2.5-ish less, I can even get the 54M version. Yea it's cheap but as long as it works, I am happy. It's a temporary solution until I get a new laptop anyway.
