    Question µatx Psu

At the moment I have a µATX PSU and I need to get a new PSU for a new nVidia 8800 GS graphics card that I may get. Can someone tell me what the difference between normal ATX and this µATX and if I will have to get a new µATX instead of ATX

I don't think there's such a thing as a uATX PSU. What is the case?

    Re: µatx Psu

Still what case do you have? The are uATX PSUs on Scan but you will still need to know which is compatable with your case. Additionally they are more expensive than their ATX counterparts. You may get better value for money buying a new case/PSU combo (like the Sonata III/Sonata Designer/Sonata Plus 550).

Just checked Scan and the only uATX PSU I would consider (that i would be comfortable runnign a high powered graphics card from) is in the region of £100 (400W FSP) for that money you could get any of the cases I mentioned above with a 500W or 550W PSU.

It may still be that your case is compatible with an ATX PSU let us know what your case is and we will see if somebody knows!

    Re: µatx Psu

Sounds like an ATX PSU to me right dimensions.

uATX are often case specific not form factor specific.
