    Cheapest 1333FSB motherboard?

I'm building a new rig on the cheap. I have an E2160 to help me get started, but I will want to get a 45nm chip soon.

The question is what is the cheapest motherboard around that will take 45nm chips? I guess it must be 1333FSB, and fairly new. Is there anything cheaper than the plethora of P35 boards around.

Also, which of the cheap boards are likely to have the highest FSB headroom? The P35s all seem to hit 400FSB with good components. Can cheap boards manage this too, and which boards hit the highest frequencies?

    Cheers

A bit more expensive @ £66.96, but I have heard good things, including people hitting 500+ FSB, has RAID, solid Caps. Decent cooling etc. review here:

AnandTech: MSI P35 Neo2-FR: Platinum performance for under $100

    Re: Cheapest 1333FSB motherboard?

If its really on the cheap you could get an old 965 board, my P5B runs happily at 1600Mhz and it'll take the newest CPUs with a BIOS update.

    Re: Cheapest 1333FSB motherboard?

    Asrock conroe1333 - £29

Sure about the 1333, not dead sure about 45nm chips though.

EDit: ok it supports wolfdale duals but not quads.

    ASRock Motherboard - Product - ConRoe1333-D667 - Overview

edit2: look for the 4core1333 for quad core 45nm support
