The only place this has been reported in that comment. It's not even an article just a comment on one.

I'll be in the corner with the salt until Nvidia or a reputable source says something.

If that is true it looks great!
    But lets wait and see.
It'll be another year before they get the drivers right and a short time after that when games will come out that would show off the extra power.
No need to rush out and buy one straight away!

Lets see if they release some decent drivers for the 8800 before they release the next lot of unsupported tripe.

Well, not including any 3d type bugs, 2 that spring to mind are the contrast bug in vista x64, that surfaced again the other day, and also, pink/grey flickering when dragging windows around the desktop and tearing sometimes.

Still a way to go yet.

'G92'...does that mean they might create a G90 for the 9900GTX?

And I agree about the drivers...I just bought a new pc with Vista 64 and an 8800gts and I get black ground tiles and neon looking walls on Far Cry. Other games are ok though.

I have vista 64 and no problems at my end.
Is there anyone with vista 64 and problems with the latest 162.22 driver for the 8800?

I think DR had the very same contrast bug problem, not sure which drivers he used, but it was only recently when he posted about it.

Power consumption will be better because of 65nm, not sure a 3rd more transistors will see it lower overall.
