    Question Pc cases?

Well currently i have a chief tec and i have no idea what its called or anything, similar to this one

I think its time for a change and i have no idea what cases are good +bad, id prefer a case that is more cooler then quiet, i know theres the p182 and 900 but are kinda to expensive for me at this time.

Does any1 have good recommendations for a case for around £50? i could go higher but not if i can help it.

    Current specs are : e8400, asus p5n-d, 2gb corsair, 1 250gb hard drive, 2 drives, cd/dvd combo and dvd burner, 8800GTS 512mb.

Preferably in black or close, just not white, perhaps a cable management thing on it. Oh and i got a Xclio 700W.

    Thanks

    Re: Pc cases?

I looked around for ages and settled on the Antec 900.

Its a fantastic case, well laid out, no sharp edges and plenty of room.

It was a toss up between this and the P182............i dont like cases with doors so this won for me and im glad i chose it.

    Re: Pc cases?

The Cooolermaster CM-690 looks to be popular choice around that price point.

I have to vouch for Antec's quality, I have the P182 and it is a superb case for a quiet PC although it can be a bit of a nightmare to build into in terms of cable tidying. And is a bit out of budget.

How about a lian Li PC7 PLUS II?

£10 over your budget but a nice case and lian li have always had very good build quality.

    Re: Pc cases?

I've got a Coolermaster (Black Widow - I actually ordered a CM-110 but the door fell off on arrival) from back in the days where it was more highly regarded than Lian-Li. My flatmate bought a Wavemaster (around the time people started to look away from CM), and for most part it was a good case. If the Centurion is anything like that (Hexus did gave a positive review), it would be a good sub-£50 case. With a bit of shopping, I've seen the Antec Solo for as little as £52.xx. But it actually has less bays.
