Xeons - Passive and Active?
Erm what?
Just been having a nosey at the S771 Xeons on Scan and they have Passive and Active listings for each model.
Ok i haven't kept up with Xeons since... well ever really, so whats the deal with these then?
i saw on engadget that Asus have released (or at least announced) their first Skulltrail motherboard, which got me thinking about building a system based on this again. You could build one for not too much money. Tempting again.
Also, whats the main differences between 5000, 5100 and 5300 series processors?

5300's are quad i think the others are duals
