    Case Fans

    Hi

Im looking for a range of LCD blue case fans, ive owned sum budget ones from ebuer cost £2, but it does sound like a vent. i really wanted a bit more of a quit set up, but i also love blue lighting, any one have any or no of any ?

ive been told that some manfactured lie about the noise output so i really wanted people who owned blue fans which were quiet so they could recomend them. thanks

    Re: Case Fans

I can recomend the 120mm Coolermaster fans, I've got the red LED version and you really cannot hear them running, even at 12v.

i like the idea of being able to turn of the LD, but i need like 6-7 of these and are gonna run out of slots, is it possible to hook the 3/4 pin fans to a device which lives in CD room slots and can disable LD fans and change speed etc.... ?

just read the one which can turn the LD off it can attach 3 to it, what a brilliant design ! i really like the look of them, is that the one u have lucio ?

    Re: Case Fans

With respect to the fan with the LED on/off switch the switch only controls the LED not the fan just in case that was unclear.

As to plugging Fans into something in a 5.25" bay your in luck look at the fan controllers on Scan (or your favoured e-tailer) as you need to power up to 7 fans looking at Scan you have no single device options,

Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK
This will allow you to control 6 fans, but has no display of fan speed.

Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK
This will control 4 fans displays their rpm and 4 temperature sensors as well as your power consumption (up to 800W, which is plenty).

Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK
Again 4 fans and 4 temperature sensors comes with 3 bezels and can control audio volume as well, oh and the are 7 back light colours to choose from! (well you don't have to choose it will cycle them if you want ) This is what I have in my system

Akasa and Silverstone both have 3.5" bay controllers for 3 fans similar in style to the first zalman I linked, Akasa also do a multifunction panel which has card reader and front ports as well as a fan controller though I'm not sure how many fans it controls.

    Re: Case Fans

What if you got some decent non-lit fans and just put some case neons in? Then u could turn them off when not needed and u could get more silent fans.
