warranty question ?
Well i know bfg doesnt support overclocking so im not touching my gfx card, but do intel? because id like to overclock my cpu a bit higher but id rather keep 3year's warranty. Is it like corsairs warranty? as long as it doesnt go over the rated volts then its fine?
thanks

Re: warranty question ?
I was under the impression that was the way it works, also intel have no way of knowing if a chip has been overclocked or not as no information is stored on the chip itself about what clocks have been used or volts.

Re: warranty question ?
Intel are pretty good with these sorts of things. But yes as long as stay within stock volts you keep your warranty. That said as long as you dont let it get too hot it's not going to let go. I havn't seen a cpu die.. ever lol
Clock it :D

mike care to share some of your wisdom in this thread? http://forums.hexus.net/hexus-hardwa...-advice-p.html
please ^^, newer boards baffle me especially when the dam manual says stuff different to the bios :P.

Re: warranty question ?
already did :) I have an nvidia board and do it unlinked to save any hassle.
My RAM runs 500FSB and CPU runs 4**ish :)
