    New case cooler or both?

Hi I have a cooler master cavalier 3 had it a while now it looks good but seems to have crappy air flow The front intake fan is only able to pull air through a hole at the bottom of the case and it sits on a carpet floor in my room so its no good.

I have an AC 7 working overtime when I play games and for that matter non taxing programmes keeping my e4300 @ 2.8 cool. My temps idle are 45-47c and load low 60's I'm sure its not the ac 7 thats the problem.

So should I get a better cooler thinking of scythe mine or a better case thinking of antec 900 or both! I will be upgrading to a E8400 when they are available.

    Thanks

I'd say get a new case first. The Antec 900 is a very good case with great cooling.

Re: New case cooler or both?

As spiral out said, I'd go for a better case with good air flow, then see how it goes, if its still not to your liking then get another CPU cooler, which by the way may I recommend the Thermalright Ultima 90 with a good 120mm fan and some AS5, it will cool your CPU down a treat
