    Asus P5KPL-VM views

    hello

does anyone have this motherboard? is it any good as I havn't seen reviews on the net. I just want IGP (upgrade later) mild overclocking and upgradability to penryn quad maybe end of the year or so, plus it's quite cheap!

opinions or recommendations would be appreciated.

Dear Hunain, i have purchased P5K-VM for my cousin, and it has a problem with PCI TV Tuner, i have tried Pinnacle PCTV Rave, and MSI Anywhere Master, with both cards i connected a cable b/w tv tuner output and sound card line in, but tv tuner software is not showing "line in" within its "Audio play back" properties and as the result i can not control the sound volume using tv tuner software,

both tv tuners have been tested on another system w/o this problem,

i updated sound card driver but the problem still exists, do u have any suggestions? there is no update drivers for both tv tuners,

    thanks,

umm, you have pretty much covered everything Voodoo, with the driver update and testing the cards on another system. Unfortunately I dont use a TV tuner with this PC, so I cant say much. Why dont you try contacting ASUS? Im very sorry I couldnt be of much help
