    Going PCI-e

I think I need a partial upgrade to my HTPC system.

Running an Energy Efficiant AM2 4200+ on a Asrock AGP/PCI motherboard.

I've discovered a new uber TV card (Blackgold 6-in-1) so i'll need to go PCI-e on the motherboard and graphics from.

I'm not looking for a all singing motherboard, I do want stability and reliability though. I won't need SLI or anything like that, just one PCI-e 16x and I'd like 3x PCI-e 1x or higher. A couple of regular PCI slots would be nice too

Now the graphics card. HD accelleration is needed, this will eventually be driving a 1080p LCD/Plasma. The stock cooler will be coming off and the whole things connected to my case for passive cooling with heat pipes (thisis the case btw: KustomPCs.co.uk - mCubed HFX Chassis Silver / Black (Bare)). I'm fairly brand agnostic, again I just want reliability and stability.

Oh, and I don't want to spend more than £150, but closer to £100 if I can get away with it

    Thanks guys!

    Re: Going PCI-e

Thanks for that, I'll take a look at them

There has been some talk ofthe Blackgold 6-in-1 on the MediaPortal forums, seems to work fine with that. But I'll look into it some more.
