    Freezer 7 Pro Fan Speed?

Does anyone know how to control the fan speed of the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro? Mine seems to be quite enigmatic, sometimes booting at 300 RPM, and others at 2500 RPM...

You can control the voltage from the system bios which will regulate the fan speed, so i guess it may be a bios setting that's causing the fan speed to fluctuate. I have ACF7 Pro also, and afaik mine stays constant @ 2500? I can tell you that 300 is the lower limit for the ACF7.

As long as your temps are OK it doesn't matter what RPM its running at.

Re: Freezer 7 Pro Fan Speed?

Its just that I would much rather it was below 1000 RPM, purely due to the amount of noise higher speeds cause.

Re: Freezer 7 Pro Fan Speed?

1.5k rpm keeps it nearly silent. Ive found the difference from 1k-1.8k not noticeable over my case fans(they are only running @ 1k).

Just thought id put my advice there

I appreciate your advice, however I still don't know how to control the fan speed.

Re: Freezer 7 Pro Fan Speed?

i never used any motherboards other then asus so i can only guess that there should be some options in the bios about setting the speed of the fan.

Re: Freezer 7 Pro Fan Speed?

Yes there should be an option in the BIOS to set up the fan control.
It works by giveing it a temp to aim for then it should automaticly adjust the speed decreaseing the speed if under temp, increaseing if over temp.
