Question Aspire cases, advice?

Well i saw the aspire cases on offer @ scan and they caught my eye as i was looking for a new case one which would be quiet ish and good cooling. Are these any good?
Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

Are these also big? because i already have a large case (chief tec) but i feel the cables are in the way of the cpu cooler constantly and ruin air flow. If these arent good, any advice on around £50? the antec 900 is nice but i think £70 is too far but the cm 690 caught my eye . But i want something with a clear side panel(if possible ) so i can shove some green neons as i just like them now xD.

Thanks guys.
<-------specs

Also please recommend cases that are BIG inside as i want to wire cables somewhere instead of infront of cpu cooler.

Re: Aspire cases, advice?

I wouldnt recommend that case really, it uses 80mm fans which will just be noisy without pushing enough air. The coolermaster is the best case for £50 imho, unless you fancy a project with the sharkoon rebel12:

To me that case has potential for greatness with some modification and is very cheap for its size. I particularly like the separate hd cooling.

Re: Aspire cases, advice?

In your position I would get the Antec 900. Ticks most of the boxes.

Probably not the best case for cable management, but a bit of ingenuity and some cable wraps goes a long way in that game.

Re: Aspire cases, advice?

That case is a bit narrow too. You won't get any of the large HSFs in there. And I bet it'll be a pain to build.

Re: Aspire cases, advice?

ty i wont bother with them cases then. The antec although i like it alot, too expensive @ £70, |£50 is pushing it. I just want a big case where i can cable tie some cables too and will slot a couple of 120mm fans on front and back for good air flow. That shakroon looks really similar to my chieftec

Re: Aspire cases, advice?

You could always buy a dremel and modify your current case, put an extra fan bay here and there. Get creative!

Re: Aspire cases, advice?

What is the width of the case? Is there space for a 120mm exhaust? It does look as if it might be a bit narrow. Could you remove one of those hd cages, it looks like u dont need both of them. Those cables could definitely be arranged more neatly, try getting some cable ties (although if the psu was at the bottom of the case it might help).

If you can fit a 120mm intake and exhaust that would probably help alot. Also consider putting fans on the top and bottom like the CM-690.

Re: Aspire cases, advice?

these pictures were before i took out the extra cage and it was a bit neater then that.

Couldnt find any tape measures so used a short ruler, roughly 20cm width. I dont think there is enough room for any more fans except for 1 on the other side of the case.

I have 2 intake(1 at bottom front and 1 @ hard drive) and 2 exhausts in the picture and then 1 intake 92mm fan on the side(rest 80mm).

Any place sell some mounts to change 2x80mm slots to 120mm slot? or would it be better just keeping 2 80mm?.

I did attempt to arrage more neatly but its mainly the 24pin cable which takes the whole room.
