What are the basic differences between the two versions? Is the second a lot better for any reason? Was looking at a second had one, but its version 1, is this a major thing, compared to getting a version 2?
Cheers,
Alex
my v1 is stable at 215mhz.
i reckon v2 has more headroom though

yeah V1 boards were notorious for the bios wipeing itself when you tried to change settings, even V2 boards have this problem tho the updated bios seems to be less suicidal. I had 2 V1 boards commit suicide the same way - the 1st one after i tried overclocking and the second as i tried to change my AGP aperture
I had a V2 board that did it aswell, so after this I decided that asus were well and truley rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishe at mobos still, and went for a nice MSI one
have had a rev1.04, great board but not stable at above 166fsb
my version 2.0 board is great at 200 and I want more out of it tbh
will try more soon
Got a v1 here and it's been fine, it's been running pretty much 24/7 for a year without incident..
