On a side note, have you seen the results of people trying to remove the IHS? Ouch.... poor chaps, thankfully I haven't killed a CPU yet, but I can imagine what it feels like.....

Q6600... true, the Wolfdales are faster, but i think i'd rather have more cores than just 2 fast ones... not to mention the chip OCs like a dream... one of the best bang for buck chips ever made, IMO
They're truly bangin'. IC is right, there are certain parts that become legends, and the Q6600 is one of those. Especially if you use 4 cores pretty much 24/7, like me.
