    Nope. Just produced random errors trying to install windows - and made it look like I had memory issues...

    That is a nightmare. It would be worth sending it back to the manufacturers just so they could have a look.

    that is mad...I'd never have checked a sata cable.

    I think I'll buy good quality cables from now on, but who makes good quality, most are mass produced and rebadged for different retailers.
