    7900 GT aftermarket cooler?

My card is making a noise like a wounded camel, and it's 100% down to the sodding cooler on my gainward 7900GT.

Any suggestions, with the emphasis on ease of installation!

    Something like this
Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev. 2 VGA Cooler

and then this if you need fans
Arctic Cooling Accelero S1/S2 Turbo Module

This would also be quite good im sure
Zalman VF900-CU Quiet Copper VGA Cooler

    Thanks peeps

I like the idea of the accelero without the addition of the fan accessory, but the only fan in my system is on the cpu currently... so there isn't much at all in the way of airflow, do you think it will be ok on it's own?

Saying that, I do have a couple of 120mm fans knocking around

Can't hurt to try it without a fan, see if the temps are good after a bit gaming.

    Re: 7900 GT aftermarket cooler?

passive function does rely on some sort of case airflow to get air circulating around it.

however if you zip tie a fan to it, performance will be super.

I need to install some case fans anyway, i've got two 92mm fans for the front I just need to buy a rheobus to keep them quiet.
