A little bit of RAM help needed
I finally got my gfx card to work on pci express x16 2.0
Now however, and this has been a problem for a while, i cant get 4gb running in dual channel, only 2 gb. As soon as i plug in the other 2gb, bsod....
what shall i do?

What voltage is your memory running at? Out of the box is normally 1.8v your memory probably supports 2.1v (or maybe 2.2v). If you still have it at stock settings the first tyhing I would try is upping the voltage a notch to see if that helps (max voltage should be on a sticker on the module).
Alternatively it could be that one stick is faulty have you tried each individually?

Sounds like you`re running RAM voltage too low or you need to start upping (carefully) the voltage to northbridge. This is not uncommon when running with all four slots filled. You may find it useful to memtest all four sticks as well, just to check they`re not the problem.

its not 4 sticks, its 2 X 2gig sticks
I installed the patch mentioned, everything is working now
