Cheap replacement motherboard

Here is my relevant specification:

E6300 Core 2 Duo
2GB Corsair Value Select 667MHz
430w Tagan PSU

The motherboard I currently have is an ASROCK ConRoe945G-DVI.

My question: is there a cheap replacement motherboard out there allowing me to overclock the above?

Thanks, I could probably stretch to that.

So it is feasible for me to overclock with an E6300 and DDR2667? What kind of results can I expect, is the ram a real limitation? I can't afford new memory but DDR2667 should allow a little headroom, shouldn't it?

Yep your chips native FSB is actually 533MHz where the RAM is 667MHz so you have at least that 133Mhz to play with and then what ever the RAM will give after that.

I'm sure you could probably mess about with memory dividers and such like to get more out of it but you would have to read up on that sort of thing.

IP35 is a great mobo for the money.

Your RAM will almost certainly be your limiting factor rather than your CPU or the IP35.

around 2.3Ghz before the RAM will need overclocking. What RAM is it?

If I managed to get 2.5-2.6GHz would buying a 3870X2 be worth it or would my CPU seriously limit it's performance, meaning perhaps a 9600GT may be a better option?
