Advice on cooler for micro ATX case

HI i've almost got the spec for a new comp sorted down to the few final bit, What would be a good cooler for a micro ATX system based on the following;

Motherboard: Abit I-NF73HD

Fitted into the following Aplus Case

Advice apreciated.

Are you sure about that case?

There are better one's out there.

you can fit an entire scythe ninja in there :p

If you do want that cube case though you will want something like a zalman 8700 or thermaltake blue orb II :)

Damn fine case sM, shame that it lost its sides.

I used that same case to build my new bedroom pc last week, fitted a Q6600 with the retail box stock intel cooler on it (not planning to overclock for now), on the ASUS P5K-VM iG33. You need to fit everything on the motherboard before sliding it back in the case and fitting in the cables, which means there was only just enough room for the cooler (and the cards I had fitted) to slide into the case, so whatever you go for needs to be no larger than the intel cooler.

You can also fit a lot more in the TJ-08 than Mike shows for example this,

Ignore the Red SATA cable it has been replaced!

Oh and thats a Thermalright Ultima 90 with a 120mm fan by the way. Oh and a HR-05 IFX on the NB ;)

Scythe have some lower profile sinks worth looking at.

Was going for the cube case for easy transportability and using minimal space.

Any thoughts on whether the following heatsink is any good?

Hmm interesting product, but pricey! anyone actually tried it?

Think i'll stick with conventinal air cooled for now

If you are looking at convenient watercooling then at least go with a well respected watercooling brand

Oh and the TJ08 isnt exactly big you know, in fact its footprint is loads smaller than any cube case. As for easy transport I don't think you would notice the difference in overall size. It is also more versitile with component choice and (in my opinion) looks 100x better :)

I agree with Webby which is why I wen't for the TJ-08.

Once you get passed the fact that the cubes look pretty kool, they turn out to be a bit of a novelty.

There are no cubes which aren't a compromise in on way or another, whether it's space, features or price. In the end the towers won out as they are

-Best for cooling and also very quiet (TJ-08 and Antec NSK certainly)
-Best for Price (antec's offering comes with a decent PSU for <&#163;60)
-No HSF restrictions (as demonstrated)
