    Low-ish profile CPU heatsink

    Hi,

I'm looking for a quiet heatsink & fan to cool a Q6600 in a SFF machine, the Antec Minuet to be precise.

It must be less than 8cm tall and it needs fit in here:

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Oh of course, the budget.

Around £30 I reckon, not 100% sure on what I'm willing to spend yet.

Zalman 8000 sure looks like a good candidate.

Thermaltake blue orb II comes quite highly recommended in these circumstances. Very similar to the zalman really.

    Re: Low-ish profile CPU heatsink

    Thanks for the replies,

The Zalman CNPS8700 looks promising, will consider this.

Unfortunately the TT Blue Orb's mounting mechanism interferes with the PSU and NB and if it's rotated hits the RAM so I can't use this. The 8700 just about fits, 1mm from the PSU and gives enough clearance for the RAM.
