Tomtom on a Palm.
I have a Palm E2 which I basically dont use for anything, so I thought I would play with using it as a satnav, and maybe get a wifi card, that sort of thing.
Anyway I bought a cradle for the palm, reconditioned stock or whatver off ebay, and got myself some tomtom software and copied that onto an SD card I had.
The position im in now it the the software runs fine, you can browse maps, and you select what type of gps receiver you have (the cradle) and jobs a gooden. And the palm charges off the cradle if you put it in it. But it doesnt recognise the cradle as being there otherwise and just saids “no receiver” or whatever.
Anyone got any thoughts, ive hit a brick wall with it really.

Re: Tomtom on a Palm.
Just a thought, are you ABSOLUTELY positive that the cradle in question has a GPS receiver built-in, or that you have one wired up to it or the E2?
