Hi All,
What is the difference between these two Thermal Right Coolers?
One is 10 pounds cheaper and in stock, cant find the extreme anywhere!
Hi All,

One is EXTREEEEEME!! ..
In all seriousness though, it will probably only be a few degrees difference.
I believe the extreme has more or better (or both) heat pipes to provide better cooling. I would probably go with the ultima 90 if you can't get the Extreme 120. It's supposed to be very good.
But then, I would get the scythe ninja
the ultima 90 is great, i bought it a few weeks ago and it keeps my OC E4500 about the same if not cooler than my flatmates OC E6400 with an extreme. Depending on the case you can get a really good wind-tunnel effect which really helps keep alround temps in your case low
scythe mine didnt fit my mobo ive seen people put ultra 120 extremes on thats why i chose it
I think the ultima 90 is almost the same cooler, just a little bit shorter but provides almost the same results.
Oh bugger. Managed a double post instead of an edit.

The TRUE 120 has more heatpipes than the TRU 120. 6 as opposed to 4.
I don't have a Ninja, but have an almost identical Infinity, and it out-performs the UE 120 (which I also have) with slower moving fans, but at speed of around 1,500rpm or more the UE 120 starts to move ahead.
Those results don't suprise me. The the ninja is very much in it's element with a slow spinning fan due to it's design allowing it to be used passive if required
Certainly from what I have seen from my mates extreme it does work very well with faster fans on it, certainly better than the ninja.
My Ultima 90 is keeping my E6550 (@ 3.5GHz) cool enough well 27 hours of Orthos and it was 59 C that is with a 120mm Akasa Amber @ 1400rpm when running folding at home it ambles along at ~53 C and its never idle
Great cooler recommend it fitting is particularly easy none of this push pin rubbish!
